- Is Red Letter Rebels free?
- Yes — free, with no ads, no subscription and no account to create. Nothing is locked behind a paywall.
- What does “red letter” mean?
- The words spoken by Jesus are printed in red. It is a printing convention that dates to an 1899 New Testament, and it is where the app gets its name.
- Which Bible translation does it use?
- The World English Bible (WEB), a modern public-domain translation. That is also what the in-app chapter reader shows when you open a full chapter.
- Does it work offline?
- Yes. The verses ship inside the app, so the feed works with no connection. The network is only used for optional extras — the email signup, passage updates, the chapter reader and the church finder.
- When does it launch?
- It is coming to the App Store and Google Play. Leave your email above and you will get one message when it is live — nothing else.
